​Vietnamese Social Services of Minnesota offers hands-on volunteer and internship opportunities!  Volunteer positions for various programs such as our Senior – Elder Circle, classroom teaching assistants, peer navigators, tutor, digital learning assistants and online reading class teachers are available year round.
     Please note all internship positions are unpaid and require a minimum number of hours per week.  Volunteers must meet the minimum age requirement of 18. However, youth aged 16 and older interested in getting involved and girl or boy scouts looking for  possible projects should contact Jo Matson at [email protected].

Open Positions
Currently we do not have any open permanent positions, but we are looking for substitute teachers who are comfortable teaching both online and in - person classes.

ABE Substitute Teachers:  Minimum Qualifications 
BA or BS degree
Minimum of one year teaching adults online and/or in person. Knowledge of ABE/ESL and College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) Standards.
Preferred Qualifications:  ABE Teacher  - MN licensure or currently in a teacher education program, TESOL/TEFL certificate, excellent digital skills, including online teaching with Zoom or similar platform.
